Mi Finquita, meaning ‘My Small Farm’, was founded by coffee professionals and producers Ratibor Hartmann and Tessie. The coffee journey begins with ripe crop harvesting, followed by waterless sorting on African beds. After sorting, cherries rest for approximately 11 days, undergoing gradual pre-drying and rehydration. Finally, the cherries dry for 22 days in a dark room.
This exceptional coffee earned a distinguished fourth-place ranking at the 2023 Best of Panama (BOP) Competition, specifically in the Geisha Natural Group category. We proudly acquired this exquisite lot through the highly competitive BOP auction, securing it at an exclusive price of $1008 per kilogram. With a mere 25 kilograms available this year, this coffee stands as one of the most coveted and rarest offerings in the world.
