Luito

Limited Offering – 100g

Luito Geisha Estate owned by Lamastus family is the northernmost coffee farm in Boquete, and it is partially inside the La Amistad International Park, a World Heritage Site. La Amistad International Park is one of the most biodiverse sites in the world. The biodiversity surrounding the plantation makes the flavor profile of the coffee very unique. The total production of Luito this year was only 75lbs. We secured this 50lb lot with the price of $146/lb from the Lamastus family’s second private auction.

The processing method of this lot is a classic honey process. After the pulp was removed from the coffee cherries, the coffee beans were slow dried under the sun on raised beds. Resting for this lot began on July 13th, 2022.

Flavor Notes: jasmine, honeydew, mandarin orange, champagne
