FRINJ is pioneering high-end coffee production in California, supporting a growing network of farmers with post-harvest processing at its mill just north of Los Angeles. Condor Ridge Ranch is the state's first commercial coffee farm, perched above the misty Gaviota Coast in Santa Barbara County. Grown at 34.43°N latitude and just 200 MASL — far beyond the traditional coffee belt — the ranch's coastal microclimate and dramatic diurnal shifts encourage slow cherry maturation, enhanced sugar development, and a uniquely complex cup profile.
