Finca Nuguo

José Gallardo and the Gallardo family are among the most revered coffee producers in Panama. Since 2015, their coffees have been consistently awarded at the Best of Panama competition. Nuguo, their highest-altitude farm, is nestled in nature near La Amistad International Park, the largest rainforest reserve in Central America. The farm’s unique location poses challenging conditions for coffee cultivation, including low nighttime temperatures, strong winds, high humidity, and intense rainfall—yet the results are extraordinary.
