Founded in 2008 by coffee professionals Willem Boot and Helen Russell, together with partner David Pohl and skilled management of Kelly Hartmann, Finca Sophia was created with the vision of cultivating world-class coffee in one of the most remote and elevated corners of Panama. Situated in the cool, misty highlands of Nueva Suiza at over 2100 meters, the farm is among the highest in the country, with sweeping views of Cerro Punta and the Marque Internacional La Amistad.
