Chevas Coffee was founded in 2016 by Jose Luis Chevas, who at just 18 years old set out to continue his family’s agricultural legacy in Boquete. As part of Panama’s new generation of producers, Jose Luis combines deep respect for tradition with a bold vision to elevate Panamanian coffee globally. In just a few years, Chevas Coffee has earned international recognition, placing 9th in the Geisha Natural category at the 2024 Best of Panama competition.
Geisha Fresa was fermented with Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast in a tank until reaching its optimal fermentation point, then carefully dehydrated in a dark room.
