We are celebrating our 8 year anniversary with a special collaboration with CCClay. The porcelain sensory cup is designed for an enhanced tasting experience. With a uniquely designed rim angle and cleaner, straighter lines, the cup greatly enhances the mouthfeel of coffee and other beverages—making every sip silky and smooth.
The CCClay x Blendin sensory cup features a lilac theme with a hint of pink, inspired by the elegant and complex profile of Panama Anaerobic Natural Geisha. At Blendin, each coffee is given its own color through coffee cards, and the Anaerobic Natural Geisha is characterized by delicate purple floral, sweet berry, grape, and vibrant tropical fruit notes. This harmony between color and flavor profile is exactly what we hope to convey through this sensory cup.
To complete the experience, we are also releasing a coffee crafted to pair with this cup: Elida Natural ASD Geisha from our long-time friends at Lamastus Family Estates, with layers of violet, pineapple, and concord grape jam. Together, this pairing of cup and coffee brings the full spectrum of lilac elegance to life, celebrating both artistry in design and excellence in flavor.
The Elida ASD Geisha is now available for purchase on our Premium Series page.
About CCClay
CCCLAY has always taken the idea of “bringing competition-grade coffee tools and artisan-level porcelain into daily life” as the starting point for its product development.
The founder, Clay, comes from Shanghai, China—one of the most vibrant and trend-setting emerging hubs of global specialty coffee culture. Back in 2018, when he was simply a coffee enthusiast, he won runner-up at the World AeroPress Championship. Clay discovered that the taste of a cup of coffee is inseparable from the sensory experience brought by the vessel itself. Driven by a curiosity about how brewing tools shape flavor, CCCLAY was born.
CCCLAY’s products are hand made in Jingdezhen, home to China’s thousand-year porcelain tradition, rich in natural kaolin and renowned for its world-class mastery of porcelain firing—qualities that define the very word “china.”
From the beginning, CCCLAY has focused on sensory experience and created designs specifically for those with a refined palate. Their most popular product has always been the sensory cup—originally developed through years of iteration and innovation by Clay and the CCC community, in pursuit of better sensory performance in coffee competitions.
The washing station participates in a number of farmer outreach and support projects including a livestock rearing project and a range of Farmer Hub projects centered on strengthening cooperatives and improving yields.
