Santa Irene

During the 2022 harvest season, producer Carlos Estrada at Finca Santa Irene won first place in the Anacafé Regional competition in Baja Verapaz with his special washed Catuai lot. We were impressed by the quality and by the distinct profile, which showcases the unique terroir of Baja Verapaz.

Carlos Estrada has been working in the coffee business and cultivating at Santa Irene since 2012. He and his team are always looking to improve coffees through education, community participation, and farm maintenance and processing innovation.
